What we keep when you request an invitation, why we keep it, and how to have it removed. Last updated 7 November 2026.
Who we are
AvoDram is operated by AvoSolution Limited, which is the controller of your personal information under UK data protection law. You can reach us about anything in this notice at ask@avo.earth.
AvoSolution Limited is registered in England and Wales, company number 16680106. Registered office: Meadowbank, Cockleford, Cowley, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire GL53 9NW.
What we collect
When you request an invitation, we keep what you write in the form:
- your name and email address;
- your city, if you give it;
- your answer about what you drink, and who referred you, if anyone.
Our form provider also records the IP address and browser details of each submission, which we use only to filter out automated spam.
Why we use it
We use your application to read it, to decide whether to extend an invitation, and to reply to you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in considering requests for membership and answering them. If you become a member, we use your details to provide your membership, under our contract with you.
We do not send marketing, we do not sell or share your details with anyone for their own use, and we do not publish the names of applicants or members.
Who handles it for us
The website and the application form are hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the United States. Notifications of new applications are sent to our email inbox. These providers act only on our instructions. Where your information is held outside the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires for international transfers.
How long we keep it
- If your application is declined, we delete it twelve months after our reply.
- If you become a member, it becomes part of your membership record for as long as you are a member.
- If you ask us to delete it, we will, whatever stage it has reached.
Your rights
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict how we use it, to object to our using it, or to receive a copy to take elsewhere. Write to ask@avo.earth and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would be grateful for the chance to put it right first.
